Major Changes Unveiled for Upcoming Season
Top-Rated Booth Remains Intact
CBS Sports has released its broadcast lineup for the upcoming 2023 NFL season, revealing several notable changes. The highly acclaimed top booth, featuring Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson, will remain intact.
Second-Team Shakeup
However, the second-team booth will see some adjustments. Ian Eagle will continue to serve as play-by-play announcer, but Charles Davis will step into the analyst role, replacing Trent Green.
Watt Joins the Team
Former NFL star J.J. Watt is joining CBS Sports' "The NFL Today" and will make appearances throughout the season. Watt, who spent his entire career with the Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals, retired after the 2022 season.
Super Bowl LVIII on CBS
Additionally, CBS Sports will host Super Bowl LVIII, which will take place on February 11, 2024, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
The 2023 NFL on CBS schedule begins on Sunday, Sept. 10, with matchups airing across the network's national broadcast and CBS Sports Network.
